Metro-North looks at double-decker train cars

Double-decker train cars could be on track on two Metro-North lines.

The railroad is reportedly considering buying double-decker coaches for its Harlem and Hudson lines.

Metro-North says the new cars would ease overcrowding during rush hour.

The two-level trains cost the same as single-level ones, and officials say size would not be a problem for the tunnel at Grand Central Terminal.
