Police say the driver of a Nissan Rogue hit a 31-year-old man near 108th Street and 63rd Road in Forest Hills about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Investigators traced the vehicle to a nearby residence and arrested 17-year-old Avraham Mullokandov.
Police say another vehicle hit the man after the SUV.
That driver remained on the scene and has not been charged.
The victim is at Booth Hospital in critical condition.
Mullokandov is charged with vehicular assault, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.
