Police on Long Island searching for a brazen pet thief.

Police are working with a strong piece of evidence, surveillance video, and the entire robbery was all caught on camera.

The owner at BJT's Jungle Pet Store in West Islip had just installed new cameras when the burglary happened.

The shop's owners say the suspect stuffed two ferrets into his jacket and walked out.

If you look closely you can spot a ferret poking its head out of the man's pocket.

One of the ferrets had already been sold to a customer as a Christmas present for his child.
