New York City is reminding drivers to slow down with a new sign that will certainly get your attention.

A flashy electronic sign reads "Speed Limit 30", then a man on the sign turns into a skeleton and the words "Slow Down" appear next to it.

Officials say the sign shows fatal consequences of exceeding the speed limit.

The signs were installed on 4th Avenue in Brooklyn and on Horace Harding Expressway in Elmhurst, Queens.

Both locations are known for excessive speeding.
