New technology is helping men get a taste of the whole experience. Thanks to Japanese researchers, there is a new device that at least gives the guys a clue about what women are going thru.
It took mad science to impregnate Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie "Junior," but Japanese researcher Takayuki Kosaka has come up with another solution that sill allows men to experience the "joys" of womanhood. A pregnancy simulator he calls the "mommy tummy."
Kosaka says his invention was inspired by insensitive Japanese men who refused to offer their seats to pregnant women on trains. He decided it was time for men to understand what it's like to be pregnant.
The mommy's tummy is more than just a baby bump. The simulator pumps warm water into a plastic bag that expands by the minute. Four dozen balloons inflate and deflate to mimic the kicking or movements of a fetus. Each one is attached to a sensor. The unborn child reacts to belly rubs and uncomfortable shaking, and yes, the breasts get larger too.
Of course the simulator has the luxury of leaving out the back pain, swelling, mood swings and morning sickness, but it comes pretty close to taking a man from normal to full term in just two minutes.

The simulator was just presented at a technology conference and now the researchers reportedly plan to test out the suits during pregnancy classes at hospitals and community centers.
