It happened on Thursday at 2:00 a.m. near 108 Drive and Merrick Boulevard in Jamaica.
Police say the woman was approached by the suspect who was armed with a box cutter, who took her to a secluded area and raped her.
The suspect is described as a 20 to 23-year-old black man, about 5'5", and approximately 180 pounds.
He has a Caesar style haircut and was wearing a black bandana, black waist length leather jacket and dark jeans.
