Toilets bring relief to NYC Wall Street protesters

NEW YORK

Occupy Wall Street announced that the three toilets were installed at a building near Manhattan's Zuccotti Park, where protesters have been camped for more than a month.

The toilets have round-the-clock security at a loading dock near the park.

They are open to protesters - and the general public.

A spokesman for the protesters says they've been working on securing toilets for weeks. But the spokesman says it was only on Friday that the efforts were successful.

Some residents have complained about protesters going to the bathroom on streets and sidewalks.
