On Saturday, police warned women to be on their guard while they searched for the bandit.
For the past three weeks, police believe the suspect has been on a one-man rampage stealing phones and purses from unsuspecting women in the /*Bedford Park*/ section of the Bronx.
Eyewitness News is told he follows the victims into their buildings, then grabs and runs. He is described as strong and fast, but not quick enough to elude surveillance cameras.

The robberies have taken place at all hours - some late at night, one in broad daylight at noon. The robber is not concerned about the time of day, as he looks to do something quick and easy to steal.
