What's being billed as the largest gun buyback program in the city's history is scheduled to resume on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Other buyback dates are planned for every Saturday in January, as needed.
Police will offer up to $200 for a working handgun and $75 for a working rifle. Assault-type rifles will be eligible for higher amounts.
Two local grocers are offering gift cards as incentives as well.
