There are new clues in a cold case murder, 35 years to the day after it happened.

Greg Sjolander was found shot dead behind an abandoned home in Darien, Connecticut on December 4th, 1978.

He had recently moved from Montreal.

Police are releasing images of his distinctive tattoos, one reading "Terry my love".

They are also releasing doodles from a nearby restaurant.

The doodles were left there by three men overheard discussing a murder that morning.

They've never been identified.
