2 shot, 1 fatally, outside Sam's nightclub in the Bronx

MELROSE, Bronx (WABC) -- Two people were shot, one fatally, outside of a nightclub in the Bronx early Wednesday morning.

The gunshots rang out around 1:30 a.m. outside Sam's nightclub in the Melrose section.

Police say a 43-year-old man was shot in the back and died from his injuries.

A second person was injured.

Police are still searching for the killer and are trying to pinpoint a motive.
