Subway disruptions Monday afternoon

NEW YORK V Line service was suspended late in the afternoon because of a problem with the rails in Queens.

And, as of 6:00 p.m, the MTA said that following an earlier incident, N and W train service had resumed with residual delays.

In addition, the MTA said, "due to ongoing switch problems at the 169th Street Station, selected Coney Island-bound F trains are running express from the 179th Street Station to the Parsons Boulevard Station. Please expect delays in service on the F trains at this time."
