Participants also are invited to write "notes of hope" to be preserved in the museum.
The signings are being held on Wednesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The project was taken to 25 states last year. Tens of thousands of people signed the beams and shared their reflections on 9/11 in "notes of hope."
