Armed serial robber on the prowl

EAST FLATBUSH He has been robbing bodegas, using a small black gun to demand money.

He has robbed at least 5 times in the past 3 weeks, usually in the late morning hours.

The suspect has struck some of the victims with the firearm, police said.

The robberies started on March 21 at Uncle Sam's Deli on East 55th Street in East Flatbush.

He struck again at the Jhosely Food Center on 902 Clarkson Avenue in East Flatbush on March 27.

Three days later, the Honduras Express Corporation at 1571 Saint James Place in Crown Heights was robbed.

He struck twice more in East Flatbush this month.

The Diaz Grocery at 5612 Church Avenue was robbed on April 5. The R.V. Grocery and Deli was hit on April 7.

The suspect is described as a black male believed to be in his late teens, six feet tall and 170 pounds.

He was captured on surveillance tape in the last robbery on April 7.
