Castro's wife says the father of two was murdered on his walk home from the grocery store.
During the vigil, Castro's devastated mother made an emotional plea for help in finding her son's killer. The shooting happened in front of 817 Schenck Avenue around 12:30 a.m.
Police were still looking for the gunman.
