The fire broke out on the fourth floor of an apartment building on Franklin Avenue just before 11:30 a.m.
The victims are a 15 year-old-girl and a five-year-old, possibly a younger sibling.
The children were in a back apartment when they were found.
They were rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in unknown condition.
