Suffolk County Police say firefighters were called to the house on Howard Street just before 11 a.m. Thursday and found Brian Nolan. He was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
No one else was in the home at the time of the fire, which appears to be not suspicious.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
