Authorities say 23-year-old Demetrius Morales is the man in the video who tried to rape a woman as she left a subway station last Thursday night.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. at the Bedford-Nostrand Avenue station on the G line.
Police say Morales offered to help the 21-year-old woman get her bags to the street then attacked her on a stairway.
She screamed, and he fled the scene.
