The man, identified as 21-year-old Hamilton Sanchez-Olmo of Camden, was caught hiding behind a dumpster just after the Lodi robbery on Essex Street just before midnight Monday.

He is suspected of wearing a black ski mask and using a BB gun to rob the 7-Eleven of $100 in cash, and he is now being questioned in connection with five other armed robberies in 24 hours over the weekend.

Two were in Hasbrouck Heights and once each in Garfield, Lodi and Elmwood Park.

He was caught by a Bergen County police K-9 unit after a brief foot pursuit and was found to be in possession of a ski mask and BB gun.
