Police are searching for three suspects who tied up and robbed an elderly man in the Bronx during a frightening home invasion that was caught on camera.

The incident happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday in the vicinity of East 169th Street and Fulton Avenue in the Morrisania section.

Authorities say the 79-year-old victim returned home, and as he was parking his vehicle, he noticed that the rear door of his house was opened and a window was broken.

He was then approached by one suspect and then pushed inside by the other two, according to police.

The victim was threatened at gunpoint and ordered to lay down on the floor, where the suspects attempted to tie up the man with a dog leash.

They forcibly removed $500 and jewelry before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The victim was not hospitalized as a result of the incident.

The suspects are all described as being black or Hispanic males in their 20s who stand around 5-foot-7.
