Check the list of New York City street closures for General Assembly session

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The NYPD has announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays relating to the General Assembly session at the United Nations.

Police are highly encouraging the use of public transportation for the duration of the visit.

-- 34th street is subject to closure between 5th Avenue and the FDR Drive, but it ill not be closed at all times.

-- 49th Street, from Third Ave. and Lexington Ave.

-- 46th, 45th and 44th streets, between First and Second avenues

-- First Avenue, 42nd to 48th street

-- 34th Street, subject to closure

-- FDR Drive ramp to 42nd Street

-- FDR Drive South ramp to 53rd Street
