One man wanted to see what happened if you boiled a brand new iPhone 6 in Coca-Cola. Why? We have no idea. Regardless, the video has amassed more than 2 million views in the past two weeks. Take a look.

After bringing about a cup of Coca-Cola to a boil, most of the water evaporates, leaving only a syrupy, black goo bubbling in the pan. The man in the video hits record on his iPhone before placing it in the pan, though it doesn't last long.
Within seconds, the sugary black goo pools over the iPhone, which gasps for help with an excessive heat warning prompt before shutting off forever.
"The results made my house smell like smoke for 2 hours," wrote TechRax.
Expectedly, the poor iPhone is completely destroyed, and covered in the solidified black substance after having cooled. The screen is cracked and popped off, buttons melted, and altogether trashed. And it was all completely mesmerizing.
TechRax recommended you do not try this experiment at home, though we recommend you do not ever boil any tech devices in any liquid, at home or not.
