MORRISANIA, Bronx (WABC) -- Police in the Bronx are searching for the suspect who beat and robbed a woman.
It happened on Sunday, October 16 at around 9:35 p.m. in the Morrisania section.
A 35-year-old woman was entering her apartment building near Fulton Avenue and Crotona Place, when a man followed her inside the building.
He then pushed her to the floor, kicked her in the stomach, and then took her purse and cellphone.
The victim suffered bruises, but no other injuries.
The individual is described as a 6'0" tall man, 220 lbs., and last seen wearing a red sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers.
