ST. GEORGE, Staten Island (WABC) -- A man was found fatally stabbed on a bench near the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.
The 30-year-old victim was found sitting on a bench, between the Staten Island Ferry Terminal and the Richmond County Bank Ballpark, at around 2 a.m.
He may have gotten into a drunken dispute at the Staten Island waterfront at around 2 a.m., according to the New York City Police Department.
He had been stabbed and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An intoxicated 49-year-old man being treated for stab wounds at Richmond University Medical Center is a person of interest in the case, police said.
It is not known what sparked the dispute.
No arrests were immediately made.
