Suspect wanted for Queens subway attack

JACKSON HEIGHTS

On Friday, April 8, at approximately 10:45 pm, police say the man in the picture approached an Asian man that was walking on the mezzanine of the 74th Street/Roosevelt Avenue station in /*Jackson Heights*/ and assaulted him with a metal object to the head.

The suspect fled the scene, but not before being caught by the security cameras.

He is described as Hispanic or Middle Eastern, between the ages of 20-25 and wearing a yellow headband, blue ski jacket and grey sweatshirt at the time of the assault.

The 66-year-old victim was rushed to /*Elmhurst*/ hospital where he was treated for a fractured skull.
