Police: Intoxicated woman crashes into patrol car on Long Island

PORT JEFFERSON, Long Island (WABC) -- A woman on Long Island is facing charges after she crashed into a police car in Suffolk County.

Officials say the woman was intoxicated and hit the patrol car in Port Jefferson early Saturday morning.

There was an officer in the car, who suffered minor injuries.

The woman was charged with DWI.
