LONG BEACH, Long Island (WABC) -- Surfers from Long Island may want to trade in their surfboards for a sleigh as they deliver hundreds of toys to children in need in Puerto Rico.
The crew packed up boxes of toys Wednesday night at JFK Airport - headed for families left devastated by Hurricane Maria.
The surfers are from Long Beach, and know what it was like to rebuild after Superstorm Sandy. They want to make the holidays a little easier for families in Puerto Rico.
