Video: Son returns from Army, surprises mom in Miller Place restaurant

MILLER PLACE, Long Island (WABC) -- A soldier returning home from basic training surprised his mother on Long Island this week.

Troy Garcia, 18, caught his mother off guard Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings in Miller Place.

The surprise was caught on video. Click on the player above to watch it.

Garcia just left Army basic training, and returned home for the holidays after being gone for more than six months.

He is expected to go overseas in January.
