AccuWeather forecast for NYC, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut
NEW YORK (WABC) -- We have an AccuWeather Alert for Sunday evening into Monday morning.
Sunday starts mild and muggy before heavy rain and gusty wind moves in at night. Expect highs to be in the lower 60s.
Heavier rain can also lead to localized flooding, and any embedded thunderstorm could contain damaging winds. A stormy Sunday night will be followed by some leftover rain Monday morning, mainly east of the city.
We stay sunny and mild on Tuesday and Wednesday before showers arrive just in time for the first day of spring.
