Pedestrians struck by out-of-control car

An elderly woman lost control of her car, striking three pedestrians in the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn.Newscopter-7 was live over the scene.

Police say the woman's car jumped the curb at the intersection of 78th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway just before 8:30 a.m. this morning.

The vehicle reportedly plowedinto three adult pedestrians, two of which were initially unconscious. All three were rushed to Lutheran Medical Center. Officials say none had life threatening injuries.

According to reports, the driver, an elderly woman, apparently lost control of her car. No charges were immediately filed.
