We are now in the home stretch with only nine full shopping days left until Christmas. If you've run out of ideas and are looking for unique, inexpensive gifts that also help local business owners, we have it for you.

Eyewitness News uncovered a treasure chest of holiday gifts in DUMBO, one of a number of items that all cost less than $50.

Inside Half Pint Citizens, you'll find a range a eco-friendly goods, something for mommy and baby, matching sweaters, handmade necklaces for $29, books, games, all perfect when you're on a budget.

"This community is, as you know, very artsy, a little bit edgier than typical communities and we thinking we all have to get creative especially in this environment and economy," said Randi Song, with Half Pint Citizens.

Creativity is endless at Halcyon, the shop.

It's a great place to explore things, an emporium for underground deejays, art and design in New York City," said Shawn Schwartz.

Come into the cozy corner shop, listen, read and test out the equipment. While you're there, pick up a gift, books, shirts, and remember these, from jazz to techno, there's an abundance of albums.

Just a stones throw from the cobble stone streets of DUMBO is one last find in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Hand-made pieces feature snapshots from our area and for the first time, scenes from European cities.

It all costs less than $50.

Pretty practical items that won't pinch your wallet.
