Shots fired, carjacking at New Jersey mall

Police in New Jersey are on the hunt for an armed robbery who got away in a security vehicle carjacked from a shopping mall.

The incident happened in Woodbridge around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say a gunman entered the Bob's Furniture store and fired at least one shot, grazing an employee.

The suspect then ran outside and unsuccessfully tried to carjack a vehicle. He reportedly fired several more shots before finally stealing a marked security vehicle.

He drove away on Route 1 North.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
