'Harry Potter,' 'Winnie the Pooh' hit theaters

NEW YORK

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is on track to set box office records all over the world. In fact it's already grossed close to $100 million overseas and at showings overnight in the U.S. and Canada.

Eyewitness News entertainment reporter Sandy Kenyon saw the film, and he agreed with most critics who believe the movie is a fitting finale to the franchise.

The box office record to beat was set by "The Dark Knight" when it opened three years ago, and this Potter movie is well on its way to passing that weekend total of $158 million.

"Winnie the Pooh" also hits theaters this weekend, and Sandy checked that out as well.
