Police say 43-year-old Angel Recalde was seen running near a bus stop last Friday shortly after one of the attempted abductions.
Authorities say he tried to lure the girls into a Cadillac Escalade in separate incidents on the same day.
A 14-year-old girl says he followed her in a Cadillac Escalade as she was walking in Flushing Friday night. She was able to run away.
A 13-year-old girl reported a similar incident in Jackson Heights Friday morning. She told police the suspect engaged her in a conversation and, after realizing she did not know him, she walked away from the vehicle.
Police say he then exited his vehicle, approached her once again as she walked away and grabbed her by arm. The victim pulled away from him and ran.
