Disabled train delays NJ Transit, Amtrak

New Jersey Transit is reporting residual delays of up to an hour due to a disabled train. The delays are impacting travel on the Northeast Corridor, the North Jersey Coast Line and Midtown direct trains.

A train broke down at a critical switch point inside Penn Station New York.

The incident occurred at 3:30 p.m.

Amtrak was also was affected by the disabled train, but it is reporting residual delays of between 15-20 minutes.
