Attention drivers on Long Island - Nassau County's new "boot and tow" program takes effect Monday.

Last week, officials announced the new scofflaw patrol program.

White trucks equipped with license plate readers look for scofflaws.

If your vehicle has three or more traffic, parking or red light camera tickets, it will be booted and you'll have 48 hours to pay the fines or be towed.
