Multiple fights, stabbings, and at least 73 people were arrested in Seaside Heights between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. on Memorial Day, police said.

The question comes amid reports that shelter residents have been going out at night and panhandling.
An additional curfew will likely be put in place Thursday through next Monday, March 27.
This comes after previous events resulted in public drinking, drug use, fights, and vandalism.
The incident at Pier Village in Long Branch, which authorities say quickly got out of hand, created a public safety emergency that resulted in a 9 p.m. curfew imposed by the city.
